New Directions - Part 2
Cosmetologist or Veterinary Assistant?

Vs.

SRSLY?

As I continue on through this whole pick-a-career-that-doesn't-suck process, I'm finding that there is so much change involved, I could roll it or store it in a flux capacitor.  Ha!  Anyway, the list of potential jobs is many and varied.  Here are the top career picks from each survey:

Strong Interest
Corporate Trainer (AES)
Cosmetologist (EA)
Advertising Account Manager (AE)
Flight Attendant (EAS)
Photographer (ARE)
Social Worker (SA)
Urban & Regional Planner (AI)
Art Teacher (AS)
Public Relations Director (AE)
Operations Manager (E)

CC Interest Profiler
Desktop Publishers
Landscape Architects
Poets, Lyricists and Creative Writers
Technical Writers
Multi-Media Artists and Animators
Architects, Except Landscape and Naval

MBTI [ENFJ]
Interior designer
Craft artist
Industrial/organizational psychologist
Veterinary assistant
Elementary school teacher
Broadcast technician
Meetings/convention planner
Public relations specialist
Career counsellor
Home health aide
Photographer
School counselor

There are more, but this should give you an idea of what I'm working with.  My career counsellor is going to combine the Strong and MBTI results into a single analysis, which should hopefully clarify things a bit.  Looking at the results so far, I have a bias towards service, teamwork and creativity.  A few jobs show up multiple times, such as photographer, PR dude, ad agency guy and various types of counsellor.  Of those, I'd lean toward photographer or the ad guy thing.  PR - I don't really understand what that is.  I don't really have time to go back to school.  Actually, I do have the time [thirtysomething], but I don't know if I can take student life again...
